Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- The National Transport Commission said bus fares will not be revised although fuel prices have been revised.

The Commission clarified that a fare revision will not be made because, according to the bus fare revision formula, the increase in fuel prices has not reached the 4% threshold.

The annual bus fare revision was last implemented from midnight on July 5, 2026.
