Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- Former Sri Lanka cricketer Jayananda Warnaweera passed away at the age of 64. The former off-spinner represented Sri Lanka in 10 Tests and 6 ODIs between 1986 and 1994, and later served as curator of the Galle International Stadium.A product of Mahinda College Galle he later represented Galle CC and was the leading wicket taker in the Lakspray cricket tournament.

Warnaweera, an off spin bowler represented Sri Lanka in 10 Test matches (32 wickets with best figures 4 for 25 ) and six One-Day Internationals (6 wickets ) between 1986 and 1994.
