Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Former Provincial Council Member of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Jayalath Bandara Dissanayake who was arrested by the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau (CCIB) for defrauding an individual of Rs. 27.5 million was released yesterday (15) on bail by the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court. Jayalath Dissanayake (58) brother of former Minister S.B. Dissanayake, was ordered to be released by the Nugegoda Magistrate's Court on two sureties of Rs. 10 million each and cash bail of Rs.50,000.

He was also imposed with a travel ban to prevent him from leaving the country.
