Sri Lanka, July 28 -- A former hospital attendant wanted under three open Warrants issued by the Polonnaruwa, Manampitiya and Dehiattakandiya Courts, together with an accomplice, was arrested with heroin, ICE (crystal methamphetamine) and a motor car by officers of the Polonnaruwa Divisional Crime Investigation Unit.

The suspects were taken into custody during a raid carried out on Sunday (26). Police recovered approximately 5.4 grams of heroin from the first suspect and 38.110 grams of ICE from the second suspect. The narcotics had been cleverly concealed inside the rented vehicle to avoid detection.
