Sri Lanka, Feb. 10 -- Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath has thanked Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Government of Pakistan for positively considering Sri Lanka's request regarding arrangements for the India-Pakistan T20 World Cup fixture.

In a post on X, Minister Herath expressed appreciation to Prime Minister Sharif, the Pakistan government, and the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their cooperation in helping ensure the match proceeds smoothly.

He also thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistan's sports authorities for their support in resolving the matter through collaboration among participating nations and cricket authorities.
