Sri Lanka, Aug. 10 -- Justice and National Integration Minister Harshana Nanayakkara, stated that individuals with insidious motives are attempting to manipulate prison inmates to provoke unrest, appealing to prisoners not to fall prey to the agendas of a few.

The Minister made these remarks on Saturday (8) while issuing a special statement regarding the recent incidents across several prisons.

Speaking further, the Minister stated:"There is a need to convey a message to the relatives, loved ones, and friends of prison inmates.
