SriLanka, Sept. 23 -- In a historic verdict, the Colombo High Court Trial-at-Bar yesterday convicted 15 of the 24 accused in connection with the Easter Sunday terror attack of April 21, 2019, including Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed Nawfar, alias Naufar Moulavi.

With 23,270 charges filed, the case represents the highest number of charges ever brought in a single trial in Sri Lanka, marking it as one of the most significant proceedings in the country's legal history.

Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed Nawfar (alias Naufar Moulavi) and Mohammed Saribu Adam Lebbe (Abu Hadik) are among the 15 accused who were found guilty by the Court.
