Sri Lanka, April 20 -- The Road Development Authority (RDA) said that a revenue of over Rs. 441 million has been generated from the expressways in the eight days from April 10 to 18 during the festive season.
RDA Director General Anuradha Hettiarachchi said that 1,170,830 vehicles have used the expressways in the eight days.
Stating that 161,847 vehicles left the expressways on April 10 alone, which marked the beginning of the New Year season, he said that the highest revenue was generated on that day and the revenue generated on that day was Rs. 59,815,450.
