Sri Lanka, July 24 -- The Employees' Trust Fund (ETF) Board has decided to grant membership to non-state, private sector employees engaged in public transport services. Accordingly, the Board has decided to extend ETF membership to private bus crews as well.

In line with this decision, an awareness programme regarding the inclusion of bus crew members (drivers and conductors) into the Employees' Trust Fund (ETF) scheme was held recently at the Transport, Highways and Urban Development Ministry auditorium in Battaramulla.
