Sri Lanka, Oct. 12 -- A haul of over 18 kilograms of Ice (methamphetamine) and heroin worth nearly Rs. 300 million, allegedly belonging to an overseas-based major drug trafficker known as 'Annasi Moril', was recovered from a house in the Wattala-Mabola area on Saturday night, with one suspect arrested.

Found stored inside a room in the house, the drug stock consisted of over 9 kilograms of Ice and over 9 kilograms of heroin.

Information from the Colombo District Crime Division indicated that during questioning, the suspect stated the heroin stock belonged to Annasi Moril, who is currently residing in a European country.Read Travel Guides
