Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- As part of this initiative, a team of EDB officials recently visited Bogala Graphite Lanka PLC, one of the world's leading producers of premium natural vein graphite, to gain first-hand knowledge of the country's graphite mining and processing operations.
The visit enabled officials to observe the complete graphite value chain, from underground mining and ore extraction to processing, grading, purification and export preparation. The EDB said the insights gained would help formulate strategies to enhance Sri Lanka's mineral exports and strengthen the country's position as a leading global supplier of high-value graphite products.
