Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- An officer of the Traffic Division of the Hatton Police said that there is a risk of various traffic accidents on the roads in the area due to the light rain, and occasional heavy fog in the areas surrounding Hatton in the central hills.

Commenting further on these conditions, the officer said that since the early hours of August 11, these areas have been experiencing heavy fog with occasional light rain, and that due to these conditions, the roads in this area are slippery and the resulting visibility is very poor during these periods of fog.
