Sri Lanka, April 1 -- The Government has approved the implementation of a 'Digital Communication and Collaboration Platform' for all State sector employees.The initiative, valued at an estimated investment of Rs. 626 million. The project aims to equip Government officials with modern digital tools, incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) features designed to enhance communication, collaboration, and overall efficiency across the public sector.

This initiative represents an initial step in aligning the state sector with the national policy framework and the government's vision for an empowered digital economy. The project is scheduled for implementation throughout 2026.
