Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- Deanath Kulathunga produced an outstanding performance to emerge as the Champion HSBC Premier Golfer for 2025, scoring 41 points to win the Overall Premier Challenge Trophy at the 12th HSBC Premier Golf Tournament held at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.

Kulathunga, who also won the Seniors Division with the same score, earned the grand prize of a fully paid hospitality package to witness The 154th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, England, from July 16 to 19, 2026 - one of the oldest and most iconic golf tournaments in the world.
