Sri Lanka, Sept. 22 -- Sri Lanka's top female golfer Kaya Daluwatte produced another outstanding performance on Indian soil, winning the Girls A category and finishing runner-up overall at the (Indian Golf Union) IGU Bio-Gen Rotary South India Ladies & Junior Girls Golf Championship 2025, held at the Karnataka Golf Association course in Bangalore, India.
The 17-year-old, already regarded as Sri Lanka's leading amateur, displayed remarkable consistency across three days of competition. She carded a total of six-under par (210) with rounds of -1, -3, and -2 under par, collecting ten birdies in total. With this effort, Daluwatte retained her Girls A category crown for the second consecutive year.
