Sri Lanka, Oct. 16 -- Attorney Gunaratne Wanninayake who appeared at the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court yesterday (15) in connection with the investigation by the Police for his arrest over the alleged incident involving obstructing duties of a Police officer in the same Court premises recently, has been granted bail.

Wanninayake has been granted bail on two sureties of Rs.500,000 each by the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court.

He appeared before the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court pertaining to the alleged incident involving a Police Constable at the Court premises that took place on October 10.

Wanninayake had arrived at the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court with Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) President Rajeev Amarasuriya.
