Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- Mount Lavinia Magistrate Pasan Amarasena has ordered the Mount Lavinia Police to detain and question the owner of the lorry with registration number LP 3307 until September 29. The vehicle was intercepted in the Seenimodara area of Tangalle while allegedly concealing heroin and ice.

The suspect resides on Sri Dharmarama Road, Walawwatta, Ratmalana.

The lorry was discovered near the house at No. 43, Kotambagahawathugoda, Seenimodara East, Tangalle, where two bodies had previously been found. During the operation, officers from the Police Special Task Force arrested the suspect in possession of 11 grams and 140 milligrams of heroin and brought him to the Mount Lavinia Police Station.
