Continuous, quality and stable electricity for economic boost to residents of Jaffna islands
Sri Lanka, June 23 -- The construction of the Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems Project for the islands of Delph, Analathivu and Nainathivu (Nagadeepa) is in full swing with the assistance of the Government of India.
The Construction of Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems is a unique renewable energy project that aims to provide reliable, sustainable and environmentally friendly electricity supply to the islands of Delph, Analathivu and Nainathivu (Nagadeepa) located off the Jaffna peninsula. This project is being implemented under an assistance program of the Government of India, and its total investment is close to US $ 11 million.
