Sri Lanka, Feb. 26 -- US Embassy's Charge d'Affaires Jayne Howell yesterday said that expansion plans of the Colombo Port will double capacity to 15 million containers by 2027.
"As South Asia's leading container transshipment hub, expansion plans will double capacity to 15 million containers by 2027", she said.
Howell said that a stronger Colombo Port means faster, more reliable supply chains for American manufacturers and consumers.
