Srilanka, July 11 -- Colombo Mayor Vraie Cally Balthazaar has announced that the official residence of the Colombo Mayor will be repurposed for community-focused activities, fulfilling a key pledge made upon assuming office.

In a post shared on her official Facebook page, the Mayor stated that the residence will be used for children's programs, arts and cultural activities, public engagements, and administrative functions. The move is aimed at transforming the space into a dynamic hub for civic and cultural enrichment, rather than for personal use.
