At a launch event held Wednesday (11) at the Shangri-La Colombo, officials and organizers gathered to mark the formal return of IRONMAN(R) 70.3 Colombo, presented by Port City Colombo.The prestigious triathlon, scheduled for 19-22 February 2026, serves as the anchor for a pivotal shift in the city's identity.

The event is expected to draw nearly 1,000 athletes from over 49 countries, bringing high-value international traffic to the capital for a week-long celebration of sport and urban vitality.
