Sri Lanka, Oct. 13 -- The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka) and the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) held jointly hosted an international seminar on cost accounting and cost auditing in the electricity sector on October 12 in Colombo.
The seminar, themed 'Implementing Cost Records, Cost Accounting and Cost Audit for the Electricity Sector in South Asia', was held at the Crystal Ballroom, Taj Samudra.
The event brought together accounting, finance, energy and regulatory professionals from Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh explored strategies for improving cost efficiency, transparency and productivity in the power industry.
