Sri Lanka, Dec. 27 -- olice suspect that a claim alleging explosives had been planted at the Kandy District Secretariat was an attempt to create public unrest.

In a statement issued this morning (27), police said further investigations into the incident will be conducted by the Computer Crimes Investigation Division (CID).

An email received by the Kandy District Secretariat yesterday (26) claimed that explosives had been planted at five locations within the premises.
