Sri Lanka, Aug. 5 -- Senior Counsellor and Psychotherapist Dr. Chaminda Weerasiriwardane expressed concern over the behaviour of young schoolchildren who are addicted to Smart phones and videos, and requested parents and teachers to stop them watching unnecessary websites which could be easily viewed from commonly available Smart phones.

He said, although Smart phones are important to them to watch educationally valued programmes, many children watch unnecessary websites under the guise of watching educational programmes.

Dr. Weerasiriwardane further said, using wrong websites and unnecessary video games will also lead children to get used to dangerous drugs such as heroin.
