Sri Lanka, Oct. 22 -- Sri Lanka's promising paddler Chanuki Akshana created history by coming on top five of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) World Hopes Week and Challenge 2025 concluded last Sunday in Sheffield, England.

Chanuki the 12-year-old player from Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda was the only Sri Lankan player to select for this ITT World Hopes Week and Challenge programme. World's most promising U-12 table tennis talents from all continents got chance for a week of training, learning and competition at the English Institute of Sports led by ITTF Head Coaches Eva Jeler and Magnus Mallander.
