Sri Lanka, Oct. 15 -- The Sri Lanka Cancer Society (SLCS) highlighted that a large number of cancer patients are reported from all parts of our country every year and people should know that many cancers, especially breast cancers, could be cured with early detection.

Quoting local statistics, the SLCS said that at least three cancer patients die every day in the country and this situation could be reduced to a great extent if patients receive accurate treatment.

The SLCS made these remarks at a cancer awareness seminar conducted at Lalan Rubber Sri Lanka. Sixty-eight employees attended the seminar.
