Sri Lanka, July 22 -- The Special Cabinet Subcommittee and Officials' Committee appointed to examine measures to be taken in response to El Nino conditions, convened for the second time at the Presidential Secretariat on Monday (20) afternoon.

The Special Cabinet Subcommittee and Officials' Committee, chaired by Minister of Environment Dr Dammika Patabendi, held extensive discussions on the measures required to address the anticipated impacts of El Nino.
