Sri Lanka, Dec. 24 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the continuation of the Suraksha Student Insurance programme for the September 1, 2025 to August 31, 2026 year, together with several amendments aimed at enhancing its effectiveness, Cabinet Spokesman and Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said.
Speaking at the weekly Cabinet press briefing yesterday (23), the Minister stated that the programme is implemented through agreements between the Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education Ministry and the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, with the objective of supporting students whose education is disrupted due to health-related issues.Sri Lanka Developers
