Sri Lanka, Sept. 23 -- The Cabinet of Sri Lanka has approved the development of a 'Government Super App', a single digital platform that will allow citizens to access a wide range of government services through one user-friendly mobile and web application.

Proposed by the President, the project will be implemented in two phases at a total cost of Rs. 500 million during 2025-2026. The initiative aims to address the current challenges of fragmented service delivery, which require multiple authentication processes, repeated data entry, and different systems across government departments, causing significant inconvenience to citizens.
