Cabinet Spokesman and Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa said the amendment to the Motor Vehicle Order No. 02 of 2011 (Highway) extends the grace period for installing seat belts in vehicles not originally fitted with them by three months, until September 19 following requests from stakeholders.
