SriLanka, Nov. 15 -- The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has issued a new gazette revising the maximum retail prices of several canned fish varieties, effective from today
The announcement updates the earlier gazette issued on December 27, 2024.
According to the revised price list, a 155g can of tuna must be sold at a maximum retail price of Rs. 165, while the 425g variant is capped at Rs. 380.
The maximum retail price for canned mackerel has been set at Rs. 210 for the 155g pack and Rs. 480 for the 425g pack.
Meanwhile, canned Jack Mackerel will now be priced at Rs. 240 for the 155g can and Rs. 560 for the 425g can.
