Sri Lanka, Nov. 10 -- President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, while presenting the second budget of the National People's Power Government in Parliament on Friday (7), said that the country's economy can be brought back to the state it was in before the economic crisis, by the end of 2025.
He emphasized that a number of effective proposals have been presented in this budget to revive and strengthen the collapsed economy. Accordingly, the budget proposes to provide online payment facilities for all government transactions to promote the creation of a cashless society.
