Sri Lanka, June 17 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has taken steps to open 23 new regional offices across the island to streamline its operations. Bribery Commission Director-General Ranga Dissanayake said that all these regional branches would open before the end of December.
He noted that the Commission was establishing these offices because under the previous system citizens living in various parts of the country had to travel to the main office in Colombo to lodge complaints and provide evidence regarding bribery or corruption.
