Sri Lanka, Feb. 8 -- The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has commenced investigations into the awarding of a cable car project by the Ambuluwawa Dissanayake Mudiyanselage Jayaratne Religious Centre and Biodiversity Complex Trust Fund, established by an Act passed by the Parliament of Sri Lanka, in violation of the tender procedure and the granting of permission for it by the Central Environmental Authority without following the due procedure.
