Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- A new operational change has been implemented at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Katunayake, effective from 12.00 noon today (17).

According to airport authorities, departing passengers are now permitted to check in up to four hours prior to their scheduled flight time.

The measure aims to enhance passenger convenience, reduce congestion, and further streamline airport operations, ensuring a smoother travel experience for all travelers.
