Sri Lanka, Aug. 26 -- A prose and poetry writing competition will be held in conjunction with the 'Bauddhaloka' Literary Festival scheduled for October this year.
Opportunities to participate are available for school and university categories, as well as an open category. Students in Grades 10 through 13 are eligible to apply for the school category. The theme for the competition is 'Buddhist Literature', and submissions may consist of prose or poetry. The theme for the university and open categories is 'Buddhist Literature Revealed through Palm-Leaf Manuscripts'. Creative works in both prose and verse are accepted for this category.
Original creations may be submitted for these competitions, accompanied by a self-prepared application. En...
