Sri Lanka, July 9 -- In line with the Government's digital transformation programme, the Eastern Provincial Department of Indigenous Medicine has commenced the digitalisation of services provided by Ayurvedic hospitals across the Province through the 'e-Ayurvedic' application.

As part of this initiative, which aims to further strengthen the services of Provincial Ayurvedic hospitals, the system will also be implemented in Ayurvedic hospitals across the Ampara District.

Under this programme, distribution of computers and other electronic equipment to Ayurvedic hospitals in the Kalmunai Regional Health Services Division was held at the Kalmunai Regional Director of Health Services (RDHS) office recently.
