Asset declarations of MPs will remain open to the public - Minister
Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- The Anti-Corruption Act will be amended to impose certain restrictions on the public viewing of the details of public officials only when making their assets and liabilities public on the official website of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC). However, no restrictions will be imposed for the public on viewing the details of the assets and liabilities of public representatives, Leader of the House, Minister Bimal Ratnayake said.
