Sri Lanka, Feb. 6 -- Former Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media and former Chairman of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (TRCSL), Anusha Palpita, has been further remanded until February 20 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court.Sri Lanka travel guide

Palpita was initially arrested on January 23 by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC). According to the Commission, he was taken into custody following an investigation based on information that he failed to disclose the source of assets totaling Rs. 46 million.
