Sri Lanka, July 28 -- Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena yesterday (27) ordered the release of five suspects on bail conditions, including Anuda Janadith Bandara, son of former State Minister Shantha Bandara and a Chinese national, who were arrested in connection with the alleged theft of Rs. 20 million from a Chinese national by posing as Police officers.

Ordering the suspects to be released on two personal bails of Rs. 20 million each per person, the Magistrate imposed a travel ban on all five suspects and directed the Registrar of the Court to inform the Controller General of Immigration and Emigration regarding the ban.
