Sri Lanka, Sept. 19 -- Police have arrested the alleged gunman responsible for the killing of political activist Dan Priyasad, along with two other suspects, including a woman. The arrests were made on yesterday night (18) in Ranwala, Kegalle.

Priyasad, the convenor of the Nawa Sinhale National Movement, was gunned down on April 22 at the Laksanda Sevana Housing Complex in Wellampitiya. He sustained four gunshot wounds-two to the chest and two to the shoulder and succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

Following the incident, several key suspects, including Priyasad's brother and a father-son duo identified as Bandula Piyal and Madhava Sudarshana, had fled their residences. Two days later...
