Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- Steps have been taken to issue 9,080 Government Analyst reports during the month of August in a bid to achieve the goal of issuing all currently pending Analyst reports within the next two months, Justice and National Integration Minister Harshana Nanayakkara stated.

He said that there is no readiness to show any leniency or forgiveness to prison inmates behaving in a disorderly manner.

The Minister made this statement during a discussion held yesterday (1) at the Mahara Prison premises, under a programme implemented with the aim of responding to emergencies if a conflict situation arises within the prison.
