Sri Lanka, March 10 -- The agreement regarding the printing of new number plates for the next five years will be signed today (10) at the Department of Motor Traffic.

This signing takes place after the relevant procurement process was conducted and tenders were called for the relevant process.

According to the new system, the number plate issued can be issued to represent any province throughout the island.

Commissioner General of Motor Traffic Kamal Amarasinghe, a representative of the number plate printing company, and Transport and Highways Ministry Secretary Kapila Perera on behalf of the Government, will sign the agreement.
