Agencies move to fast-track US$36 bn export target
Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- The Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) and the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development have stepped up coordination among key government agencies to accelerate implementation of the National Export Development Plan (NEDP) 2026-2030.
A coordination meeting with Lead Implementing Agencies was held yesterday (29) at the Ministry's auditorium to strengthen inter-agency coordination, clarify responsibilities and ensure timely execution of activities under the five-year export strategy.
The Secretary to the Ministry stressed the importance of coordinated action by government institutions to translate the national export development agenda into tangible results.
