Sri Lanka, Aug. 4 -- The Attorney General yesterday informed the Colombo High Court that it has decided to file an appeal against the order made recently that charges under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) could not be maintained against five accused, including Nadun Chinthaka Wickramaratne alias 'Harak Kata', who are accused of conspiring to escape while in the custody of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

State Counsel Sajith Bandara appearing on behalf of the Attorney General informed this when the case was taken up before Colombo High Court Judge Buddhika C. Ragala.
