Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- Inspector General (IGP) Priyantha Weerasooriya stated that steps are currently being taken to extradite nearly 100 individuals currently residing abroad, including 73 individuals wanted under international Red Notices for involvement in underworld activities and drug trafficking. He added that significant international support is being received for this endeavour. The IGP also mentioned that the ongoing programme to eradicate drugs and underworld activities has earned special appreciation from foreign embassies.
