Sri Lanka, June 5 -- Prime Minister and Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya said that the Advanced Level vocational subjects' stream, which is currently being updated under new educational reforms, should be designed to reflect new-generation trends for higher education and emerging industrial needs.

She made these remarks on June 3 during a discussion at the Education Ministry in Isurupaya. The meeting aimed to gather ideas and recommendations on the structure and certification process of the proposed vocational subjects' stream.
