Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a project to install 300,000 smart electricity meters equipped with a Time-of-Use (TOU) tariff system as an initial step towards modernizing Sri Lanka's electricity grid.Travel Guides & Travelogues

The project will be implemented by Electricity Distribution Lanka (Private) Limited over a two-year period, using the remaining USD 12.5 million from a USD 15 million loan facility obtained from the Asian Development Bank.
