Sri Lanka, June 30 -- The 25th World Council of the Girls' Friendly Society (GFS) will be held in Colombo from July 1-9 at the Ramada by Wyndham, Galle Face.
Over 100 delegates from 24 countries are expected to attend. The GFS is a global Anglican organisation of girls and women, founded in London in 1875 and active in 30 countries. The Sri Lanka GFS was established in 1904.
