Sri Lanka, July 15 -- A total of 1,042 dengue patients have been reported from the 15 Public Health Inspector divisions under the Wattala Medical Officer of Health office area, during the six-month period from January 1 to June 30, 2026.

The highest number of patients, 184, was reported from the Kerawalapitiya Public Health Inspector division, which includes the Matagoda and Kerawalapitiya Grama Niladhari divisions.

The second highest, 121 patients, was reported from the Mattumagala PHI division, which includes the Mattumagala and Elapitiwela Grama Niladhari divisions. Of these, 50 patients were identified from the Welisara Naval Base premises.
